Account Deletion Policy

At Vegcrate, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. You may request deletion of your Vegcrate account at any time. Upon deletion, all your personal information associated with the account will be permanently removed from our systems, subject to the exceptions described below.

You can request account deletion through any of the following methods:

Option A: Through the App

1. Open the Vegcrate app.
2. Navigate to Profile → Settings → Account.
3. Tap "Delete My Account."
4. Confirm your request by entering your registered mobile number.

Option B: Via Email

Send an email to support@vegcrate.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." Include your registered mobile number and full name for verification.

When your account is deleted, the following data will be permanently removed:

• Your profile information (name, email, phone number)
• Saved delivery addresses
• Order history and preferences
• Wishlist and cart items
• App notification preferences
• Payment method details stored on our systems

Certain data may be retained for a limited period even after account deletion, as required by law:

• Transaction Records: Financial records may be retained for up to 7 years for tax, legal, and accounting purposes as per Indian law.
• Fraud Prevention: Limited data may be retained to prevent fraudulent activity or abuse.
• Legal Obligations: Data may be retained if required by a court order or government authority.

Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days of receiving and verifying your request. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been successfully deleted.

Please be aware that account deletion is permanent and irreversible. After deletion:

• You will lose access to your order history and any pending orders.
• Any unused Vegcrate wallet balance or credits will be forfeited.
• Active subscriptions, if any, will be cancelled without a refund.
• You will need to create a new account if you wish to use Vegcrate again in the future.

If you have pending or active orders at the time of requesting deletion, your account will be scheduled for deletion after all orders have been delivered and any return windows have closed.
